Paradigm Shift Experience

I was a happy little 6th grader on the day i received my first pet...ZiZi the kitten. She was such a fun little fur ball. I was ecstatic to have a new member in the family. After 10 months of residence in the Moosvi household, ZiZi was taken to her first check-up. The first thing the vet noticed was how large ZiZi was. She was a 16-pounder at 10 months - a pretty hefty kitten she was. But after a little more examining of ZiZi, the vet had made a discovery that none of us had, "you got yourselves a boy here!" he proclaimed. To say i was shocked would be an understatement. My perception of ZiZi took a 360 degree turn. I couldn't believe that my cat was really a boy after thinking he was a she for such a long time. There was an awkward adjustment period but i eventually got comfortable with having ZiZi the boy around the house.
